i live in Hobart Road, Romsey Town,

as you are aware, a lot of building work is taking place at the end of our street on Mill Road.

our pathway’s along our street leading to our houses are covered in mud due to contractors walking to their vehicles from the building site which we are treading in and walking into our houses.

any chance you could have a word with both site managers to see if they could do something about it please?

also there are double yellow lines opposite the church which cars/vans keep parking on (not just contractors), could a traffic warden visit now and again to check?

many thanks

Andrew Hands

Hello, we will be in your area in several weeks and are wondering if you still do Irish music sessions on Sundays. Thanks!

the signage along st Philips road, They’ve left all the holes open along the road for weeks with exposed cable, barriers just at the edge of the holes so it’s not very safe one of the sign poles had lose wire hanging out of it and it’s leaving a massive amount of Cambridge infrastructure exposed and it going to be at 5+ days more as they’ve had over runs on other jobs

Hi,

Hoping congratulations are in order.

Dave called past my house hoping to solicit my vote the other week. We chatted and not about bins! He came by again and remembered we had chatted about childcare, making the point to let me know, he would ‘see what we can do about childcare’. I was caught mid-feed (of my 8 month old) so didn’t think to say at the time, but I wanted to share this link where you can find a map of childcare provision in Romsey:

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/search/map+of+childcare+in+cambridge/@52.1988421,0.1199872,13z/data=4b12m41schildcare3s0x47d85d89f32a012d:0×63a320e1a35e3d21

As you can see it is pretty much limited to Patacake which has a 2 year waiting list.

The Fields nursery (LA) is accessible to Romsey residents, but also has to serve the Fen Ditton Area.

Hoping you can magic a nice new facility for September!

DRAFT LETTER to Cllr Saunders,

Thank you for writing to me at 91Burnside. I’m afraid I did not re-register my vote when I moved. I’m sure you would want me to vote all the same. I give you my reasons for not voting LibDem.

You voted to demolish my former partner’s Alies’ Music Room on 28/11/13. She had it built to accommodate her sizeable and successful film music composing and production business. Your Council rubbished the letter I wrote and the later one she wrote in explanation. In fact your staff didn’t even bother to ask to see it, but wrote a report recommending enforcement and demolition and served an unlawful PCN to disobey the NPPF. Your staff scorned the the legal requirement to comply with the case law under Rambridge v DoE.

It gets worse. When my dad sent a copy of both letters to the Planning Inspectorate, your staff said they were irrelevant, and they also attempted to outlaw the impartial detailed evidence he sent of Alies’s film production career from the IMDb.

Alies’ music room was a victim of LibDem cuts, the decision to cut film production in the UK & EU. You claim you had to do this because Labour over-spent, although I’m not sure how you pin can try to pin the blame on Labour for Sarkozy’s decision to cut film production in France. My research in Cambridge is related to the most recent banking crisis, so I reckon I know more than you about it. Be that as it may, Alies had to move to Australia in order to continue to earn a living, and to move out of the music room that my dad and Arthur built for her.

PS. You mention cycling. I kept my cycle in the shed you photographed, had pictures circulated on the WWW with translations in German, Czech and Bulgarian. A whistleblower on the Council has advised that you had this shed visited on an almost daily basis, and Moeyed and Stefan have confirmed this, although you refused to provide interpreters in Czech, Bulgarian or Arabic for them to attend the PCN meeting to explain your proposed eviction. Even the date you had printed on this photo is false. You’re a disgrace. You ought to be ashamed of yourself, especially since you’re Mayor.
